At Brantano we recognise that ‘every employee matters’ and they are the heart and sole of our business. Training and development has always been recognised as one of the leading factors that can contribute towards the success of Brantano’s place in the footwear market and we are committed in striving to be the best at what we do and we can only achieve this through the continuous development of our people. 

Our own in house specialist training program starts by giving you the skills and knowledge you need to carry out your role successfully, however it doesn’t stop there because we also recognise that everyone is different with different development needs so continuous coaching and support through training initiatives, incentives, courses and funding is also provided throughout the business for individual needs. For those who want to be fast tracked into management we also have the Brantano Academy which supports career minded supervisors into achieving assistant management status.

As well as our own training and development program we also work closely with a number of external training providers and where necessary we can offer provisions for individuals to attend workshops or work towards a national qualification.

Through our commitment to training at all levels in Retail and Head Office we have many success stories where we have developed individual's strengths and skills and successfully promoted them into more senior roles. These people are the future of Brantano and our commitment to supporting them and others is ongoing.
