Q. What is your returns policy?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Jones Bootmaker therefore offers customers the facility for exchanging goods, or obtaining a refund, which is in addition to your statutory legal rights. All we ask is that the goods are unused; you provide suitable proof of purchase, and the goods are returned in their original packaging to Jones Bootmaker within 28 days of receipt.

There are various ways you can return your order:

-   Should you have a Jones Bootmaker, Gordon Scott or Beghin store convenient to attend, please take the item(s) to them, along with suitable proof of purchase e.g. Order Receipt, and the payment card used at the time of placing your order. Details of our various branches can be found on our Store Locator, and a member of our sales team will be happy to help you.

- for Internet and Mail order purchases only, your order can be returned to our Free Post Address, ensuring the Post Office provides you with a Certificate of Posting as a receipt for your records

           Should you choose to return goods by post please ensure the item(s) are suitably packaged and labelled with the following address:

-   Alternatively, for Internet and Mail order purchases only, you can use Collect+ to return the item(s) from the UK Mainland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Wight to Jones Bootmaker free of charge.

Collect+ is a convenient way to return parcels at over 4,500 local shops, and most are open early until late, 7 days a week. You will receive proof of postage, £40 insurance and an online tracking code, so that you can follow your parcels progress back to us.

To find your nearest Collect+ store you can:

  • Visit the Collect+ website www.collectplus.co.uk/jonesbootmaker.
  • Alternatively you can send an SMS to 84555, stating ‘COLLECT’ along with your postcode. Example ‘COLLECT BN23 6NZ’.
  • Or call the Collect+ contact centre on 0845 270 9888.

1. To return your items by Collect+, simply package up your goods and attached the free Collect+ returns label on your receipt to the parcel.
2. Drop off your parcel at any local store offering the Collect+ service where you will be issued with a proof of postage receipt.
3. Keep your receipt to track your parcel online at www.collectplus.co.uk/track.

Please note that you can only return your item by Collect+ in the UK and for parcels with dimensions no larger than 50x30x30cm (cabin size baggage), which weigh no more than 10Kg.

If you choose to return your order either by Collect+, or Royal Mail We would be grateful if a copy of your Order Receipt is enclosed stating the reason for return e.g. size too large/small etc, and indicating whether you require either an exchange or refund.

Once your goods have been accepted your exchange or refund will be completed within 10 working days.

If you require an exchange this will be done for you providing stock is available. As a gesture of goodwill, we do not charge postage for sending the exchange item(s). 

Q. Will I be refunded the shipping cost that was charged if I return goods for an exchange, or refund?

Customer’s who place and receive an order from a country that is a Member State of the European Union are entitled to the shipping cost refunded if the complete order is returned for a refund. However, if only part of the order is returned we are not obliged to repay the shipping cost.

You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession, and they must be returned to us promptly. 
If you require an exchange this will be done for you providing stock is available. As a gesture of goodwill, we do not charge postage for sending the replacement item(s).

Q. How long will it take to refund/exchange my order if I return goods via the post?

Once your goods have been accepted your exchange or refund will be completed within 10 working days.

Q. What should I do if the shoes are faulty?

We personally check every pair of shoes prior to dispatch, so you should never receive a faulty pair.

If however there is a problem and you have a Jones Bootmaker store that is convenient for you to attend, please take the item(s) to them, along with suitable proof of purchase, and a member of our sales team will be happy to help you.
