Reports to:

STORE MANAGER

 

Job Purpose:

To assist the Store Manager to drive sales, reach targets and maximise profit through the recruitment and development of a successful and motivated team.

 


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

·            To drive the team to maximise sales and KPI targets set by the business.

·            To ensure that wage costs are controlled within the agreed budget.

·            To ensure all company and store reports are analysed and used to maximise the turnover of the store and relevant information is communicated to the team.

·            To ensure all company and local initiatives are supported and delivered to increase public awareness of Brantano.

·            To ensure all current merchandising guidelines are adhered to and to ensure a consistently high level of housekeeping is maintained throughout the store.

·            To ensure all stock procedures are managed and controlled within agreed targets and policies.

·            To adhere to company security manuals and policies.

·            To adhere to company Health & Safety procedures and current legislation.

·            To ensure all company documentation and administration procedures are completed correctly.

·            To recruit the right team and manage the teams performance through company policies and procedures.

·            To recognise the importance of managing staff morale and ensuring all staff are continually developed using the company training programme.

·            To carry out or assist with other duties as requested by the Store Manager or company.

·            To ensure the customer experience is consistently delivered by all members of the team throughout the store.

·            To create a positive culture using the ‘FISH’ philosophy.
