The Brantano footwear retail chain was established in the UK in 1998 opening 47 stores nationwide. Today, Brantano UK operates with 150 stores. All our stores are arranged by size, out in pairs ready to try on and all under one roof.
Products are developed by our professional in-house buying team to offer the latest styles with top quality materials at affordable prices for all the family.

The Macintosh Retail Group purchased Brantano NV in 2008.The group has a total of 1,275 stores across a wide range of industries including living, fashion, automotive and telecommunications which operate in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the UK.

Brantano has continued to develop the Marketing and Buying direction to implement a family orientated strategy which reflects our 6 core values in all of our Marketing and Business activities,

Over the years, Brantano has evolved the strategy behind the brand to become a mid market destination for 'Shoes for all the family.'


The New Brantano Store Concept
In 2009, Brantano UK launched a brand new store concept in their existing Peterborough Serpentine Green store and their first High Street store in Birmingham, 

The new layout offers a fantastic new concept allowing customers to shop by style rather than size, creating a fresh and fabulous shoe shopping experience that is quick and convenient for all the family.
